As requested by Nini, I am posting some more points about myself... so we aaaaaaaaall can get to know each other betta~!! HAH~ 1). I am a true-blue Virgo. So that means I am a neat-freak. And a picky perfectionist. A planner, list-maker and organizer. I like things to be clean and orderly. Mess drives me NUTZ and I haaaaaaate it when things do not go smoothly according to my (well-thought-of and flawless~!!) plans. Naturally, I am not the easiest person to live with (HA HA HA...) because I have a few (OK, more than a few) house rules:
- toilet paper should be hung with the hanging side IN FRONT. Don't even try to argue with me, because it makes PERFECT SENSE to hang toilet paper like this - it's easier to grab AND it stays cleaner this way (the other way of hanging will cause the toilet paper to touch the wall; now would you still wanna use THAT toilet paper to wipe yourself~?! I DON'T THINK SO).
- ANY cockroaches who even DARES to come into my sacred sanctuary is guaranteed a certain and painful death. The said cockroach better hope that I am in a good mood so that it will "only" be subjected to a few smacks of my deadly fly-swatter (my favorite weapon of choice). I have been known to pour acid on some unfortunate cockroaches (especially when I'm feelin' particularly CRUEL) and watch it meltttttttt.... MWAHAHAA (evil laugh)
- if I can't see my reflection on the floor, that means it's still not clean enough.REPEAT.
2). I took a personality test before, and my score for "organization"was 98 out of 100 (no surprises there).
On the other hand, my score for "nurturance" was a measly 2 out of 100.
Therefore please do NOT ask me to babysit your child, or feed your goldfish, or water your plants while you're away on vacation. Not even for ONE day. That's just asking for trouble. 3). I often watch movies alone. Many of my friends (especially the Thais) just do NOT get why I'd watch a movie alone. "Don't you feel lonely??" they'd ask. Truthfully, watching a movie solo also makes perfect sense.
Look, it's dark inside the theater, yea~?? So you can't really see any companions anyway. Plus, you'll be concentrating on the movie, right?? So you won't exactly chat with whoever you are with (the movie is noisy enough already anyway).
PLUS, when you're alone, you're FREE to choose ANY movie you wanna watch without the hassle of considering anybody else's opinion(s)~!! Trust me, the larger the group, the more impossible it is to reach a consensus for a movie~!! IDO watch movies with others, of coz.. but I also love watching movies alone, even at home (below).
4). I have an explosive temper, which I am trying hard to control (with limited success, by the way). Waiting makes me angry. Stupidity makes me see RED. And a s-l-o-w internet connection makes me wanna SMASH the computerrrr~!!!!
Worse, I've noticed that as the years go by, my temper gets shorter and shorter~!! Anybody has any ideas on how to lengthen my fuse~??
5). I am an avid fan of the K-1 International Fighting Competition~!! For those who don't know, K-1 is where fighters from all around the world (with different martial arts styles - kickboxing, karate, muay thai, jiujitsu, judo, etc.) compete to be the ultimate champion~!! Every year in December, the final K-1 World Grand Prix is held in the Tokyo Dome, Japan~!!
I give my utmost respect to Ernesto Hoost:
Nicknamed "Mr. Perfect", this dude has the enviable bragging rights of becoming the K-1 World Grand Prix champion FOUR TIMES already~~!!!!!!!!!!
Pssst... I actually watched a K-1 Grand Prix LIVE in Melbourne, Australia a few years back~!! And I was able to TOUCH"Mr. Perfect" as he was walking back to his room after a fight~~!!! How cool is thaaaaaaat~~!!*SQUEEEAAAAAL* And I was also able to take a pic with another K-1 fighter, Matt "the Bedford Bear" Skelton (below)~!!
Right now I am closely watching (and cheering for) a Thai muay thai fighter, Buakaw Por Pramuek (I don't really know how to spell his name~!!). Nicknamed "the White Lotus", this young and very promising fighter from Surin has won the K-1 MAX World Championship TWICE already~!!
Watch this VDO (turn up the volume~!!) and be awed by his deadly skills~!! You wouldn't wanna piss off this dude, fo~ sho~!!!!!
7. My childhood dream was to be an archaeologist. I know, I know... it's so UNLIKE me. But hey, this was a CHILDHOOD dream ("childhood" being the operative word here~!!), before I found out that archaeology is a dirty, sweaty, poor-paying job.
I was (and still am~!!) extremely fascinated by ancient Egypt and for a time, contemplated of buying only Egyptian-looking furniture HA HA HAAAAAAAAAAAA...
Unsurprisingly, I am very fond of anything historical and I immensely enjoy going to museums (soooooooo nerdy, I knoooow~!!!).

Even though I love Thailand (and Sukhumvit, of coz) with all my heart, I sometimes feel that I am on the wrong side of the planet, because I am extremely allergic to hot weather.Hot, humid weather makes my temper flare and I am extremely dependent on airconditioning (so of coz, the electric bill always SPIKES in the summer *sigh*).
My favorite kind of weather is dry, icy cold (as in SNOW-cold) and sunny~!!
When it's time for me to sleep, my bedroom's temperature has to rival the North Pole. If my teeth aren't chattering when I'm out of the blanket, then it's still WAY TOO WARM~~!!!!
Whewww!.. you sound like me, but without the temper.. I turn mine inwards and smolder!! :) My toilet roll HAS to sit like yours does too!! And I just luuuuuv a COLD bedroom and get snuggled under blankets. Ya know, sometimes I get the impression you've lived in Australia for a bit.. you sound so very Aussie!

Hahahaaaa... I'll take it as a compliment~~!! I've been to Australia only once; I stayed there for a month during a vacation and visited Goldcoast, Brisbane, Sunshine Coast and Melbourne (where I saw "Mr. Perfect" IN THE FLESH~!!!) *swooooon* You Aussies have the BEST-tasting milk, by the way~!!
Hahahahaaaaa!.... I think we have the best tasting.. everything! Especially meat, milk and bread. I miss real bread living here in the States.. the bread is too sweet for me and I have to search and search for good stuff. No wonder they don't like vegemite! Vegemite tastes gross on sweet bread!! oh.. i also like my bed room to be very cold too and snuggle in a warm blanket.. but i love my pillow to be cold when i sleep on it.. and you won't believe i have more than 7 pillows in my bed.. (due to that my neck's and shoulder's muscles always ache..)..
my ultimate dream is to go to Egypt too.. though i've already visited Angkor Wat and on the way to visit Prambanan and Borobudur next month..

OK, then I won't feel tagged. As for cold bedrooms, healthy I'm told. We don't use air conditioners. Good thing for me is that "Factory" produced bread is not acceptable here so our bakers make really good bread of many types. John.

Oh, I had a blast in Oz~!! (Especially coz I came in the winter heh heh)... I went up this mountain (well, more like a high hill, actually... coz Oz is more or less flat, right~??) to see these worms that glow BLUE at night~!! Sooo coooool~~!!!

Hahaha.... you're right it's soooo... disgusting. But don't worry I don't melt them THAT often coz it's also a hassle to clean up the liquidy, gooey mess (eeeuuuuuw~~~).
